The NAS 5009 ZZNR is a specialized, heavy-duty Double Row Full-Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearing, most commonly manufactured by IKO (Nippon Thompson).
Unlike the previous needle bearings we discussed, "Full Complement" means this bearing has no cage—it is packed with the maximum number of rollers possible to achieve an extremely high load capacity. It is specifically designed for use in sheaves (pulleys) for cranes and hoisting equipment.
