- The DC7221 is a high-performance sprag-type one-way clutch (freewheel), primarily designed by Stieber (now part of Regal Rexnord). Unlike standard ball bearings, this is a "built-in" component consisting of a cage and sprags, intended to lock and transmit torque in one direction while "freewheeling" (overrunning) in the other.
